There was a certain point during our travel planning process when we realized that there was so much to do but so little time. Normally you would skip some activites then, we tend to squeeze everything in one day.
Our Tokyo days were numbered and my friend and me decided to spend our last day in Japan separately. He wanted to go back to Nakano Broadway, I wanted to see LaQua, an amusement park on top of a mall.
I had been waiting for this day for a long time. To be honest there was one reason I had wanted to visit Japan so bad since 2001. Tokyo DisneySea! The second theme park at the Tokyo Disney Resort. The theme park out of all theme parks. The one that is said to be perfect. Was it, really? I was excited to find out. Especially because one of DisneySea's attractions is a version of the Tower of Terror, the version you only find in Japan. That is why I was here!
After all this sightseeing of the days before, this had to happen sooner or later: We overslept! This day of all our days in Japan. Why? Because we had planned to travel a little further down to Osaka... to visit the Universal Studios Japan!
The next morning we left the hotel after breakfast. We walked to the station which was only 15 minutes away by wheelchair. Unfortunately the commuter train was not accessible at all, even though the timetable said so.
When I was little my parents took me to the fair and put me on a merry-go-round. The first ride of my life turned out to be terrifying and I ended up scared and crying.
